ABOUT US
A volunteer club working for southern Vietnam since 1994
The Consular Club of Ho Chi Minh City was founded in 1994. It is a non-political, non-profit club that brings together members of the consular corps and of the international and Vietnamese business communities. Everything we do is run by volunteers, with minimal administrative costs.
Our aim is to improve the quality of life of vulnerable people in southern Vietnam. Working hand in hand with local charities, we fund practical projects in education, health and basic needs, with an emphasis on gender equality and on solutions that last.

From proposal to project

Charities propose
Local charities working in southern Vietnam send us their project proposals.

Members vet and select
Our members review and vet every proposal, and select the projects the Club funds.

Funds meet concrete needs
Equipment, renovations, scholarships, healthcare and daily care, delivered through trusted local partners.
GOVERNANCE
Our rules for choosing, funding and monitoring projects, and for how the Club is run, are set out in our Constitution, as amended on 10 March 2026.

Our 2026 Executive Committee
Our team is made up of committed volunteers from many international backgrounds. The Executive Committee leads a wider group of members who work with passion to support local charities in southern Vietnam through fundraising events such as our International Charity Bazaar and Gala.
